program design : gresham high school play

Hot off the GBSD press! “Seussical The Musical” play programs are now printed and ready to distribute during each performance. Budget dictated black and white only with colored stock for the cover. I enjoyed designing this 32-page tall and skinny formatted momento and was happy to be a part of the publicity team for Gresham High School as their Performing Arts Department presents “Seussical The Musical”.

Hats off to Crystal Carlson who designed the art and the posters which hung in Gresham business windows everywhere. Many kudos to Julie Melton of The Right Type who designed bookmarks, postcards and really hustled in ad sales, typesetting most of those in the program. Of course, once you cruise through the program’s cast, crew and credit information you’ll see many, many more names of all those who put in incredible hours sharing their talent, skills and support in order to bring you seven wonderful performances of “Seussical The Musical” …enjoy!

After the play : Here is a momento I put together for my mom — she really enjoyed collecting autographs after Seussical and had a great time watching all of the students, including her grandson, Kevin as The Grinch perform.

I am extremely impressed together with your writing talents and also with the
format on your blog. Is that this a paid topic or did you customize it your self?

Anyway keep up the excellent high quality writing, it is rare to look a
great blog like this one today..

Thank you! Currently I am using the free WordPress template Twenty Ten which allows me to insert my own customized header. I love that WP has several free templates with this feature and am always excited when they introduce a new addition — it’s like wearing a new outfit, but it’s still me!
